If you’ve been hit by the acting bug—and who hasn’t?!—we’ve got an awesome event for you! Scenes for the upcoming movie “The Silent Natural” are being filmed right here in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and we invite you to make your mark!
The movie, produced by the Southern Kentucky Film Commission, showcases the story of a deaf baseball player in the late 1800s. William “Dummy” Hoy is known for his accomplishments in Major League baseball and his contributions to the game live on today.
Auditions will be held at the Visitors Center, 1730 East 9th Street in Hopkinsville on December 6th, at 5:00 p.m. Any actor wishing to audition must bring a headshot and resume. Remember to dress in period clothing! View sample attire below!
