Celebrate achievements by women across Hopkinsville and Christian County at the Women’s History Month Celebration, held on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at thePAC at Christian County Middle School. The evening will also feature a conversational panel discussion “She Talks”, where local women will talk about their persistence in order to make community growth and improvements.

Experience the connections that gender and war memory have to the present-day government in Russia. Dr. Karen Petrone, University of Kentucky Gender and Women’s Studies Professor/History Department Chair, will be on stage at the Hopkinsville Community College Auditorium to talk about Russian war memory of the First and Second World Wars as it relates to today’s Russia.
