Fall Round Table Reading Series – Author Claudia Love Mair
October 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CDT
Claudia Love Mair will read from her latest book, Don’t You Fall Now. Her memoir is a lyrical exploration of what it means for a mentally ill mother to care for a mentally ill and brain injured son. Told in sparse prose, the chapters are intentionally short, meditative, and intense. The result is a captivating story that is raw, real, and ultimately hopeful.
Claudia Love Mair of Lexington, Kentucky is the critically acclaimed author of the Amanda Bell Brown mysteries, the Exorsistah series, and the Christy Award-nominated Zora and Nicky: A Novel in Black and White.
Ms. Mair is also a mental health advocate and holds an MFA in writing from Spalding University.
The reading is free and open to all. Pizza and sodas will be provided.
