The Game Changers Initiative: Hometown Heroes, “Every Hero Has a Story”

Middle and High Schoolers, you don’t want to miss this event. Come learn what it takes to become a “Game Changer” from our Hometown Heroes!

The GAME CHANGERS INITIATIVE provides mentoring, skills development, leadership, goal-setting, education & workforce preparedness, professional development, networking and life leadership skills to middle school, high school, and community college students. They are launching the Inaugural Kickoff Event on Saturday, May 11th from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Hopkinsville Community College Auditorium Lecture Hall.

DR. JAMES CALLEROZ WHITE, currently the Head of School at The Galloway School, a JK-12, co-ed, day school with 750 students in Atlanta, GA, will be our Keynote Speaker. Born and raised in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Dr. Calleroz White graduated from University Heights Academy where he was a stand-out star basketball player. Dr. Calleroz White went on to attend Harvard University where he earned a B.A. in Government in 1995 and a M.Ed. in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy in 2001. He also earned his Ed. D. In Educational Leadership, Teaching, and Administration from Arizona State University in 2012.

The event will also feature other Hometown Heroes, interactive workshops and networking.
