Integrating Segregated Histories

Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County and the Kentucky Historical Society invite residents and former residents of Hopkinsville-Christian County to come and share 19th or 20th century documents and photos that relate to the county’s rich African American history or Hopkinsville’s once-thriving Jewish community.

Kentucky Historical Society staff will scan and digitize photos and other documents on site and take photographs of any small three-dimensional items people bring. These scanned items will become part of KHS and MHHCC digital collections and will be available online.

Help us better document this important part of our history!
