Tourism up 5% Christian County (5/8/2012) | |
Hopkinsville, KY, May 8, 2012— The economic impact of tourism in Kentucky amounted to $11.7 billion in 2011, Governor Steve Beshear and Tourism, Arts and Heritage Secretary Marcheta Sparrow announced yesterday. The economic impact figure is a 3 percent increase from 2010.

Baseball will soon be making its way back to Hopkinsville!
2012 marks the return season for the Hoptown Hoppers in the Ohio Valley League. The Hoptown Hoppers, named after the former Hoppers who played in the K.I.T. league until the mid 1970’s, are a wooden bat league team featuring collegiate players from throughout the country.
