NYE Celebration at The Bruce 2020

Join all your friends at The Bruce for live music, food & drinks!

Tickets are $95 per couple and include party favors, snacks, breakfast and a bottle of champagne per couple.

$5 per ticket will be donated to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.

The Holiday Inn next door will have a special for those attending our NYE Party of $108.88 tax and fees included.

Come in to see the new location for SassyStuff Consignment! Join them Saturday, March 21st from 11:00 am-3:00 pm, for a new location celebration, door prizes, and amazing deals!

They are now taking consignments to include: Men’s, Women’s, Plus Size, Boy’s, Girl’s, Baby, Maternity, Contemporary Housewares, and Formals.

Black History Month Speaker: Susie Archer – at Hopkinsville Community College

The HCC Pride Alliance organization will host Black History Month Speaker Susie Archer, February 27th, at the Emerging Technologies Building, Anderson Community Room on the campus of Hopkinsville Community College. Susie Coleman Archer is currently Director of Strategy and Implementation at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, and also serves as Interim Director of International Student and Scholar Services Office.

Free food will be available at this special event.

Mardi Gras Celebration! – at Hopkinsville Brewing Company

Join in the fun at Hopkinsville Brewing Company on Fat Tuesday, February 25, for the Mardi Gras celebration! Seafood King will be serving up a delicious selection of gumbo, jambalaya, smoked Cajun wings and both chicken and shrimp pasta.

No Mardi Gras celebration would be complete without costumes and parades, so enter your (well-behaved, leashed) pet in the costume contest and stick around for the pet parade.

Finally, hang out for live New Orleans-style jazz with saxophonist Harold Dawson from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Expansion Grand Opening – at Hopkinsville Brewing Company

It’s been a long time coming but it’s worth the wait!

Hopkinsville Brewing Company cordially invites you to their Fat Tuesday celebration for the unveiling of their expanded facility. The Seafood King will be serving traditional Mardi Gras dishes at the patio and saxophonist Harold Dawson will be lighting up the taproom with New Orleans-style Jazz.

Black History Month Speaker: Eric Coleman – at Hopkinsville Community College

The HCC Pride Alliance organization will host Black History Month Speaker Eric Coleman, February 18th, on the campus of Hopkinsville Community College.

Discipline, determination and a deep faith in God propelled Eric Coleman from a small western Kentucky town to a successful career as an engineer, business executive and entrepreneur. In “Not by Accident: The Blessed Journey of Eric D. Coleman,“ Eric, 49, shares his story of growing up in a family of modest means, and recognizing early on that education would be his pathway to a better life. By earning multiple college degrees, setting clear goals and capitalizing on every opportunity, he has built a life of financial security and independence.

Black History Month Luncheon – at Hopkinsville Community College

The Minority Student Union will host a Black History Luncheon in the Emerging Technologies Building, Anderson Community Room on the campus of Hopkinsville Community College. During the luncheon, an individual is to be honored for their many years of service to Hopkinsville Community College.

This luncheon is open to everyone.
