For the 1st annual dog food eating contest, a $5 donation will enter your pet in a timed food eating contest. All breeds and sizes welcome. We will place two 1st place prizes: one for small dog (under 30 lbs) and one for large dog (over 30 lbs). Contestants will get 2 cups of food. Timed for 1 minute, and on a leash, dogs will attempt to eat as much of the 2 cups (small dogs will get 1 cup). At the conclusion of the timed minute, bowls will be judged for quantity eaten. Recorded amount and times will be kept till the completion of all necessary heats to crown a winner. Should multiple dogs from a class finish their food before 1 minute, the tie breaker will go by time to finish. While we want all to compete, please do not enter your dog in this contest if they are food aggressive for the safety of all pets, pet owners and staff.
