Teen Krav Maga Clinic – at Hopkinsville Martial Arts

Hopkinsville Martial Arts will host a Krav Maga clinic to all area teenagers. All levels, all ages 13-17, young men and especially young women are invited to attend. They will also discuss the prevention of bullying.

Krav Maga is a military self-defense and fighting system developed for the Israel Defense Forces and Israeli security forces derived from a combination of techniques sourced from boxing, wrestling, Aikido, judo and karate, along with realistic fight training.

Please email [email protected] to reserve your spot. They are accepting $5 donations to the Hopkinsville Children’s Advocacy Center, as well as any volunteer donations for the center.

Casey’s Concert Series: Pennyrile Area Community Band

Put on your red, white and blue and come out for an evening of Patriotic Pops! Join the community for a fun, outdoor evening concert. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family & friends to enjoy an evening under the Kentucky sky.
Tuesday, July 9, 2019, Pennyrile Area Community Band, our local concert band featuring your friends and neighbors on woodwinds, brass & percussion, led by local conductor Scott Estes, are giving you a family-friendly performance of your favorite patriotic pops selections on the lawn at Casey Jones Distillery.
Bring your lawn chair, come early & come hungry. Food Trucks on site. Plus, Casey’s Lounge will be open with beer, wine and cocktails. Tours and tastings during regular hours.
Music begins at 7:00 pm. Food trucks start serving at 5:00 pm. Donations will be accepted.


Longest Day Ride

Join Bikes and Moore and Hopkinsville Brewing Company for the Longest Day Ride! The ride starts at Hopkinsville Brewing Company on June 22, at 6:00 PM. The ride is a no-drop ride, that consists of 12-15 miles through downtown Hopkinsville. Bikes and Moore and HBC are sponsoring a fundraiser to fight Alzheimer’s and they’ll be accepting donations on-site. Donations are greatly appreciated, but not required to ride.

Mommy & Me Self Defense Class

It’s Mother’s Day week, a perfect opportunity to spend time with your son or daughter learning valuable skills and having a great time! “Mommy & Me” Self-Defense Class. Age 12 and Up. Hopkinsville Martial Arts is asking for a $20 donation from each family that attends. The donation will be given to the Hopkinsville Sanctuary House.

A Kentucky Christmas – Jon Tyler White – Live in Concert at The Salvation Army

Join the Hopkinsville Salvation Army for a night of worship! “A Kentucky Christmas” will feature Jon Tyler White live in concert at The Salvation Army.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program. Admission is a small, monetary donation or a new, unwrapped toy.
