Relay for Life Celebrate a Life Tree Ceremony

Join this year’s Relay for Life teams at the Celebrate a Life Tree Ceremony. The ceremony will be held at Jennie Stuart Medical Center by the water fountain, as a way to celebrate the lives of people who have had cancer or are still fighting cancer. The event is free to attend. There will be ornaments for a $5.00 donation that can be purchased in honor or in memory of someone.

Join the Christian County Chamber of Commerce for their first CEO Luncheon with a focus on Healthcare in Christian County. Hear from panel members Eric Lee, President/CEO, Jennie Stuart Health, and Greg Moore, Chief Financial Officer, Jennie Stuart Health and others.

Parking will be available at the corner of 17th and High Street. There will be security personnel on-site to assist with directions. Enter the building at the Doctor’s Pavilion entrance and take the elevator down to the Cotthoff Learning Center (CLC).

Health Care Program – Recent Changes in Medicaid

The Hopkinsville-Christian County League of Women Voters invites the public to attend an informative program concerning the recent changes to Medicaid. The program will be held Monday, March 4, 2019, from 6:00 –7:00 pm at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Cotthoff Learning Center, located in the lower level of the Doctor’s Pavilion, 320 West 18th St., Hopkinsville, KY.

The presenter for the evening will be Jason Dunn, a policy analyst with the advocacy group Kentucky Voices for Health, headquartered in Louisville, KY. This program is designed to inform the public about the changes taking place due to the Medicaid Waiver, titled “Kentucky Health” which was implemented by Governor Bevin’s administration.
