Let’s Grow a Cookout! – at Christian Way Farm

LAST CHANCE FOR THIS SUMMER! When you visit Christian Way Farm on Saturday, July 20, you’re in for extra AGventure! Grind wheat for the bun, gather ketchup, mustard, mayo, and pickle ingredients, make potato chips from a freshly dug potato, find s’mores in the garden and so much more. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the hands-on program learning how food comes from the farm to the table. This special program usually reserved for groups is being offered one last time this summer to Christian Way Farm guests free with their admission to the farm on Saturday, July 20.

Christian Way Farm’s hands-on “Let’s Grow a Cookout” program teaches from growing wheat to the life cycle of a watermelon–and everything it takes in between to grow the ingredients for a cookout!

Saturday, July 20 Schedule of Events (included with regular farm admission):
10:00 AM – Christian Way Farm opens
10:30 AM – Let’s Grow a Cookout program begins
12:00 PM – Stay for lunch (available for purchase at Christian Way Cafe) or to play on the farm all day!

The farm closes at dark, but the team at Christian Way invites you to stay until 10:00 PM to play farm-themed mini golf under the lights.

Starting at 6:30 PM, grind wheat for the bun, gather ketchup, mustard, mayo, and pickle ingredients, make potato chips from a freshly dug potato, find s’mores in the garden and so much more. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the hands-on program learning how food comes from the farm to the table. This special program usually reserved for groups is being offered to guests free with their admission to the farm on Thursday, July 18.

Christian Way Farm’s hands-on “Let’s Grow a Cookout” program teaches from growing wheat to the life cycle of a watermelon–and everything it takes in between to grow the ingredients for a cookout!

Schedule of Events (included with regular farm admission):
10:00 AM – Christian Way Farm opens
Enjoy dinner, available for purchase from the Christian Way Cafe
6:30 PM – Let’s Grow a Cookout program begins
8:00 PM – Stay for mini golf on the farm (available with combo admission). They’ll turn the lights on over the course when it gets dark!

They invite you to stay until 9:00 PM to play farm-themed mini golf under the lights.

Kids and adults alike will enjoy our hands-on program learning how food comes from the farm to the table. This special program usually reserved for groups is being offered to our guests free with their admission to the farm on Saturday, June 29. Limited spaces remain, so be sure to respond here fast!
