When Santa visits Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park, he spreads holiday cheer everywhere! Enjoy all the day’s festivities! $2 pictures with Santa in the lodge lobby and $5 create your own ornament! Items in the park gift shop will be discounted all day long for the Gift Shop Open House.
Join in the fun at this year’s Christmas at the Bend! The event will take place at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center in Hopkinsville on Saturday, December 5th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. You can enjoy refreshments such as homemade cookies, apples and apple slices, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider! Make Christmas cards for nursing home residents, create fun craft projects, learn about wintertime bird-feeding and fire safety, and have your photo* taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
Admission is $5 per car | $10 per bus (up to 15 passengers) | $15 per bus (16+ passengers) | Free for Military Families & First Responders
*(Additional $5 fee for photo with Santa)

Join your friends for the Crofton Christmas Parade! The parade will start at Gordon Park in Crofton, with line-up beginning at 11:30 am. Prizes will be awarded for 1st-2nd-3rd place for the best decorated float entries. See you there!

The Woody Winfree Fire-Transportation Museum (310 E. 9th Street) will be decked for the holidays for this special Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 14 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. There’s lots of fun in store for you:
- NEW Bucket Brigade and Connect-the-Fire Hose interactive exhibits
- Discover the Scents of the Season station
- Natural-themed crafts
- Local firefighters
- Light refreshments
At 1:00 pm, Santa will read Firefighters Night Before Christmas to the young and young at heart.
They will also have fresh, live greenery available for folks to take home to decorate.

The Woody Winfree Fire-Transportation Museum serves as a drop-off location for the Hopkinsville Fire Department’s Christmas for Kids program. Drop off an unwrapped toy to the Fire-Transportation Museum on or before December 11. All toy donations will be distributed through this special community program to children by the Hopkinsville Fire Department.
