Veterans Honor Parade

The 20th Annual Veterans Honor Parade, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, will allow all local vets the chance to walk or ride along the parade route, which will begin at the War Memorial Building (1202 South Virginia Street) at 10 a.m. Veterans don’t need to register in advance to participate, but are asked to check in at War Memorial by 9:30 a.m. the morning of the event.

We also hope that thousands of “sidewalk saluters” will line the streets to honor these brave men and women. The route will go from South Virginia Street to 9th Street, ending at the Christian County Justice Center. For more information, please call 270-887-4290.

The following streets will be blocked from 9am-10:30am:
– 14th Street at Virginia Street
– 13th Street at Virginia Street
– 12th Street at Virginia Street and at Main Street
– 11th Street at Liberty Street
– 10th Street at Main Street and at Bethel Street
– Main Street at 7th Street
– Bethel Street at 7th Street
– Bethel Street at 9th Street
– 9th Street at Justice Way

The Christian County Justice Center will be CLOSED to public parking. Suggested parking areas are Founders Square, Bethel Street, Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library and West Side Park.

 

Holly Jolly Hoptown Christmas Bazaar – at War Memorial Building

Bring your friends to the Holly Jolly Hoptown Christmas Bazaar on November 9th at the War Memorial Building. Shop from a variety of vendors from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

A Klassy Affair

Klassy Kollection’s Boutique will be hosting their very first Fall Fashion Show & Vendor Fair. They will be debuting their website, giving away prizes, and having a good time.

Tickets are $7.00 for adults & $5.00 for children. Children under 6 will be free. Come early to enjoy refreshments and shop with vendors. The vendor fair begins at 3:30 and will last until 6:00. The fashion show will begin at 6:00.

After the fashion show, you will be able to shop Klassy Kollection’s Fall Collection..

Kiwanis Hopkinsville Pancake Breakfast

Join the Kiwanis of Hopkinsville for a Pancake Breakfast on February 2, 2019! The Pancake Breakfast will be held from 6 AM to 11 AM at the War Memorial Building at 1202 S. Virginia St., Hopkinsville.

All you can eat pancakes and sausage, with orange juice, coffee, and milk. Admission is $6.50, and tickets can be purchased from Kiwanis Members or at the Hopkinsville Visitors Center.
