Disaster Relief Resource Fair

Tuesday, October 25 at the Boys and Girls Club in Hopkinsville, Kentucky!
Christian County Long Term Recovery Group helps with unmet needs from the December/January tornado disasters in our area. The purpose of the Resource Fair is to learn about available resources to address remaining unmet needs resulting from the tornadoes. The Resource Fair will be at the Boys and Girls Club, 1600 S. Walnut Street, Hopkinsville, KY on Tuesday, October 25 from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Martin Luther King, Jr. March and School Challenge

You are invited to the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. March and School Challenge! This special event will be held on January 20, 2020 in Hopkinsville.

Event organizers ask that all participating please meet at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hopkinsville-Christian County at 9:30 am (1600 Walnut St., Hopkinsville) and march in unity to a local house of worship for a special MLK day program. This year’s program will be held at 11:00 am at First Street Baptist Church (812 Moayon St., Hopkinsville). Rev. C.E. Timberlake will serve as host pastor, and Rev. Randy Jackson (Bell Flower Baptist Church) will serve as guest speaker.

The school with the most students participating in the march will receive possession of the traveling trophy and a reward.

Great Futures Luncheon – at Boys and Girls Clubs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hopkinsville-Christian County is pleased to announce the 2019 Great Futures Luncheon (presented by Jennie Stuart Health), which will take place on Wednesday, July 24th, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Boys & Girls Club Gymnasium, located at 1600 Walnut Street. This event, which is open to the public, will provide an opportunity for community members to celebrate the year’s successes, as well as hear from both volunteers and members of the Boys & Girls Club about their involvement with the club, and how their lives have been impacted by the Boys & Girls Club. Seating begins at 11:30 a.m. and guests will have the option of taking a guided tour of the club by a member prior to the start of the program promptly at noon.
