Great Futures Luncheon – at Boys and Girls Clubs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hopkinsville-Christian County is pleased to announce the 2019 Great Futures Luncheon (presented by Jennie Stuart Health), which will take place on Wednesday, July 24th, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Boys & Girls Club Gymnasium, located at 1600 Walnut Street. This event, which is open to the public, will provide an opportunity for community members to celebrate the year’s successes, as well as hear from both volunteers and members of the Boys & Girls Club about their involvement with the club, and how their lives have been impacted by the Boys & Girls Club. Seating begins at 11:30 a.m. and guests will have the option of taking a guided tour of the club by a member prior to the start of the program promptly at noon.

Kelly Community Meeting to announce plans for a Westside Volunteer Fire Department Substation at Kelley Station Park

The Kelly Community Organization, Inc. will conduct their Fall Community Meeting on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 7:00PM. The meeting will be held at Kelly Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 7683 Madisonville Road (41N), Hopkinsville, Kentucky. All residents and supporters of the Kelly Community are invited and encouraged to attend. Drinks and snacks will be served. Door prizes will be given.
The Kelly Community Organization, Inc. and Westside Volunteer Fire Department will announce their plans to build a fire department sub-station at Kelley Station Park to better serve the community and North Christian County. Also at Kelley Station Park a new playground is going up with plans to be ready by Spring 2019.

Representatives from the Pennyrile Regional Citizen Corps, Christian County Sheriff’s Department, Westside Volunteer Fire Department and local elected officials are invited to attend.
