Hoptown Half Marathon & 5K

The Hoptown Half Marathon & 5K is BACK! Once again sponsored, respectively, by Planters Bank and Jennie Stuart Health, the 2nd Annual Hoptown Half & 5K is a joint road race through Hopkinsville, Kentucky, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020.

The course starts in downtown Hoptown, shows off beautiful residential areas, winds through beautiful Christian County countryside and returns to finish downtown, via our popular Hopkinsville Greenway Rail Trail.

Half marathon and 5K runner packages include a beautiful medal and comfortable long sleeve moisture-wicking performance shirt. Come experience the beauty and charm of west Kentucky scenery and hospitality in Hopkinsville — or “Hoptown,” as we call it — this fall. Last year’s inaugural race drew 632 participants from 16 different states.

A portion of the race proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Challenge House, while honoring the memory of late Hopkinsville Mayor Wally Bryan. A one-mile “Wally’s Walkers” division will also be available. View all registration options at HoptownHalf.com.

Race starting line is at 1001 S. Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville. A pre-race expo (including advance packet pick-up) will be held Friday, Sept. 18 at Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex Hopkinsville.

For more information, visit HoptownHalf.com or call 270-887-4290.

Hoptown Half & 5K Expo

Come pick up your race packet (including your official race bib), race shirt, and visit with a slew of running vendors, all on September 18, 2020, at Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Sportsplex Hopkinsville. The Expo will run from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, giving runners/walkers the chance to beat the crowd and enjoy some fellowship the night before the Hoptown Half Marathon & 5K. We look forward to seeing you there!
