Hope for Hoptown

Hope for Hoptown: Online Art Competition

What gives you hope and inspiration during this historical time? The City of Hopkinsville and Pennyroyal Arts Council are pleased to announce Hope for Hoptown: Art to Unite & Inspire, an online art competition that is now accepting submissions. Amateur and professional artists aged 18 and older living in the greater Hopkinsville – Christian County area are encouraged to participate in this free online competition. Artists of all kinds are being asked to create work based around what gives them hope and inspiration during this historical time. Entries will be judged within three categories: written word, visual art and original music. A local panel of judges will be assigned to each category with local gift cards being awarded to the top three works in each category. A #hopeforhoptown fan-favorite will also be selected based on community voting available through the pennyroyartsarts.org website. Detailed eligibility and submission guidelines can be found online at pennyroyalarts.org under the Events tab. Competition entries may be submitted through May 31, 2020 and the winners will be announced online the week of June 15, 2020.
