24/7: A Hopkinsville Fire Department Facebook Event

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be a Hopkinsville Firefighter for a 24 hour shift, get ready to join us for a day in the life of an HFD Battalion. We will be offering this one of a kind glimpse into HFD as an interactive event. You will be seeing in real time what an average shift is like, run by run.

On Leap Day February 29th, you will be getting real time updates from 7AM until 7AM March 1st. These are actual runs during actual times that our professional crews made during a selected shift from earlier in the year. Obviously we take patient privacy concerns very seriously so we’ll be protecting the identities of any people involved in these incidents.

If you would like to participate in this event, there are a few things you need to do to get prepared. First, make sure you “like” our page. Next, make sure you are following our page and are able to receive updates of our posts. Lastly, get ready for every emergency and non-emergency dispatch for this 24 hour period. After this event, on March 3rd, we hope to answer any questions you may have in a special Q&A live event to be announced after the interactive shift.

We are excited to share our experiences with our community. We want everyone to know that we truly enjoy being able to respond whenever we’re needed to help our fellow citizens. Hopkinsville and Christian County is our home and we are proud to serve our community. We hope you will join us on 2/29 and let us take you along in this interactive HFD event.
