Christmas at the Bend at Jeffers Bend

Join in the fun at this year’s Christmas at the Bend! The event will take place at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center in Hopkinsville on Saturday, December 7th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. You can enjoy refreshments such as homemade cookies, apples and apple slices, hot chocolate, and hot apple cider! Make Christmas cards for nursing home residents, create fun craft projects, learn about wintertime bird-feeding and fire safety, and have your photo* taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Admission is $5 per car | $10 per bus (up to 15 passengers) | $15 per bus (16+ passengers) | Free for Military Families & First Responders
*(Additional $5 fee for photo with Santa)
Tickets may be purchased from: Jeffers Bend Environmental Center on Metcalfe Lane, a member of the Jeffers Bend Steering Committee, the gate on the day of the event.

At 12:45 pm, there will be a drawing for a new bicycle (valued at $150). Also during the event, H & R Agri-Power and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels, will make a special presentation to event organizers.

Christmas in the Park – at Pembroke City Park

Come join your friends at Pembroke City Park for bringing in the Christmas spirit with Christmas carols, visiting with Santa, Mrs. Claus, Elves, and Live Reindeer! Refreshments will be served, and be sure to see the lighting of the new Christmas tree that was recently planted at the park. Merry Christmas from the City of Pembroke!

Pink Ribbon Network Donation Presentation – at Herb Hays Furniture

Join our community as Herb Hays Furniture supports Breast Cancer Awareness with their donation to our local Pink Ribbon Network Chapter. Refreshments will be served. Dj’s Famous Lemonade will be there. Resource information available. Raffle for recliner & chairside table, $1 entries. Donation Presentation at 1:30 pm.

Annual Trail of Tears Pow Wow

Each year, the weekend after Labor Day, come enjoy the Native American Dance Competitions, singing, storytelling, Indian flute demonstrations, Native American jewelry, clothing, books, arts, and more! A drum competition will be held, with 1st place winning $2,000, 2nd place winning $1,000, and 3rd place winning $500.
