Downtown Tipsy Tour

Get tipsy with the Museum!
This walking tour will start at the Pennyroyal Area Museum and will visit three of Hopkinsville’s downtown establishments as we stroll and drink our way through some of the seedy and scandalous moments of the past. Great for a night out with friends!
Alcohol is optional (of course), but a special adult beverage at each stop (3 total) is included in the ticket price. This program is limited to guests 21 and over.
The tour will last about 2 hours, cover approximately 1-1 ½ miles, and will end at Hopkinsville Brewing Company on 5th Street. Tickets are $28.00 per person, $25.00 for Museum Members.

Christmas Festivities at The Mixer

Bring the kids to meet Santa’s little helper and leave an ornament on The Mixer’s Christmas tree to be entered to win 1/2 dozen Mixer cookies and homemade hot cocoa bombs!

This event will take place on The Mixer patio and the mask mandate will be enforced as well as social distancing rules.

Join the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library for an evening of wine tasting and food pairings at The Mixer in downtown Hopkinsville. All proceeds benefit Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Tickets are $65 and must be pre-bought at the library front desk.

Opening Day – at The Mixer

The newest addition to Downtown Hopkinsville, The Mixer, will open its doors Dec. 18, in time for the holiday season. The restaurant, bakery and bar owned by Graham and Heather Dawson is located at 112 E. Sixth St. in the former Young Hardware building.

The restaurant will have an 84-person capacity, with room on the mezzanine level for private events. The private event space can host up to 40 people for sit-down table service. To book a private event, call 270-348-5042. Holiday private event availability is limited, but dates are available.

The restaurant will be open Wednesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Every morning, the restaurant will sell sweet and savory pastries, including Scottish donuts, Scottish scones (both sweet and savory), tomato pie tartlets, quiches, muffins, cinnamon rolls and more. Pre-order pastries, quiches, etc. are available for lunch catering. Lunch sandwiches, made with homemade bread, will be served Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. At 5 p.m., the dinner menu and full cocktail bar will be available.
