The Junior Art League is a five-week art course for students who have an interest in the visual arts. Students will experiment with different art mediums and create several original works of art. At the end of course, there will be a reception where all students’ artworks will be on display. Can’t make every session? No worries. Griffin’s Studio will have make-up days. *The grade is what your child will be going into in the fall school year.

Story Time at Hopkinsville Christian County Public Library from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and crafts! We will read new books at each story time, so feel free to stop by for both story times each week. All ages welcome.
The 2018 Lone Star Rodeo will be held at the Western Kentucky State Fairgrounds located at 2810 Richard Street, Hopkinsville. Tickets are Adults $10 (in advance) or $15 at the gate and Children are $8 (in advance) or $10 at the gate. There is a $2 transaction fee for online tickets. The annual Kelly Little Green Men Days Festival will be 3 days of Music, Games, Food, Games and rides in a family friendly environment. Learn the history of the “Little Green Men”, shop the many craft and food vendors, enter the Alien Costume Contest with us. Church services will be held Sunday morning. Dennis O'Hagan is a guitarist and singer/songwriter who has been active in the music scene with various projects for 30 years. He is currently embarking on his Great Brewery Tour, playing and discussing craft breweries throughout the U.S.
The City of Hopkinsville, Division of Parks and Recreation, will present the full-length feature film “Cars 3” on a Big Screen 35’ X 45’ in size, with stereo sound. The movie will be held outdoors at the Trail of Tears Park. Admission is FREE! Cold drinks and popcorn will be available for purchase. Comfort station will be onsite. All showings begin at dusk.
