The first-ever Hopkinsville Teddy Bear Toss, sponsored by Jennie Stuart Health, will take place Saturday, Jan. 21, during halftime of the Hopkinsville at Christian County High School boys’ basketball game. Tip-off for the game is set for 7:30pm. Halftime should occur about 45 minutes later. Plan to come early to support both teams!
At halftime, patrons will be asked to toss new or gently-used teddy bears (or stuffed animals) onto the CCHS court, where they will be safely collected by volunteers. All of the collected bears will go to the Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center and their efforts to assist local youth who have been abused and are seeking assistance and resources.
