The Snow Queen

The Snow Queen

Local students who participated in Missoula Summer Camp at the Alhambra Theatre will be showing off their hard work as they perform The Snow Queen. Tickets are available at .

Although set in a “land of colored ice,” this classic tale will warm your heart in its illustrative retelling by a group of fun-loving, imaginative hobgoblins. As they depict the journey of a young girl and her quest to find her best friend, you may just find yourself believing in malevolent mirrors, yetis, talking reindeer, and snow chickens! Blizzards can come at any moment, so strap on some snowshoes and get ready to discover what it takes to overcome chilling obstacles, keep resilience alive, and melt down the Snow Queen’s icy walls.

Thanks to sponsor Flynn Enterprises for making the camp and performance possible.

Missoula Summer Camp!

Missoula is coming back to the Alhambra to lead a summer camp! Registration is $50 per student, but don’t let that discourage you from participating. You can contact the Arts Education Coordinator to see if your child could qualify for assistance from the smARTs Scholarship Fund to attend this camp.

The Alhambra is welcoming children entering 1st-12th grade to take part in this week long theatre camp, wrapping up with a performance of The Snow Queen that Saturday. Children will participate in rehearsals and skill building exercises from 9 AM to 3 PM, but lunch will not be provided. Space is limited, so register soon.
