Going Green (7/17/2008)

Hopkinsville Community College will focus on environmental stewardship with a Sustainability Fair named “Going Green,” Thursday, August 7, from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. on the HCC campus at 720 North Drive. The event is free and open to the public. During the event, exhibitors will feature ways to save energy, recycle, practice conservation measures and save money.

Tourism Increases 11% in Christian County in 2007 (7/8/2008)

Tourism in Christian County increased 11% in 2007 and added $96,340,107 to the county’s economy, according to new statistics released by the Kentucky Department of Tourism.
