One of the most successful soul groups ever, The Stylistics had 12 straight Top Ten hits in the early ‘70s including: “You Are Everything”, “Betcha by Golly Wow”, “I’m Stone in Love with You”, “Break up to Make Up”, “Let’s Put it All Together”, and “You make me Feel Brand New.” Among their peers, they were one of the smoothest and sweetest soul groups of their era.
That famous Philly Soul sound is still groovin’ today as The Stylistics celebrate their 50th anniversary with original founding members Airrion Love and Herb Murell, with Jason Sharp and the newest Stylistic, “Bo” Henderson (former lead vocalist of The Temptations) whose amazing falsetto makes you feel as though you are listening to the hit songs exactly as you first heard them on vinyl.

Jaimee Paul & Leif Shires New Year’s Celebration

Looking for New Year’s Eve plans? New Year’s Eve at the Alhambra Theatre will feature husband and wife duo Jaimee Paul & Leif Shires with two limited seating performances (6pm and 9pm) and a live stream option on December 31 as part of the LIVE at the Historic Alhambra Theatre series.
The show is sure to entertain with new twists and turns on both jazz and pop classics. Jaimee Paul is a proclaimed powerhouse jazz vocalist and has performed for audiences all over the world. Her her debut record, “At Last”, reached #1 on the iTunes Jazz charts and her devotional hymns record, “Hear My Prayer” garnered a Dove award nomination for Best Inspirational Album in 2013.
Trumpeter Leif Shires recently toured with artists spanning a variety of genres, including Kelly Clarkson, Jack White, Eliza and the Bear, Jaci Velasquez, Wanda Jackson, Barry Gibb, TG Sheppard, Kelly Lang and bands such as the Memphis Horns, My Morning Jacket, and Latin jam band Salvador. Mastering Charcuterie Workshop

Hailee Isom of The Apron Wife will teach this private class on how to master the art of arranging a winning charcuterie spread that will wow and awe your holiday guests this season. Whether you’re having cheese or dessert for two or featuring seasonal fruits and vegetables as a formal appetizer, you’ll learn how to mix and match flavors and textures for a first-class charcuterie board experience.

Holiday Tarts & Truffles Workshop

LIMITED CAPACITY (30 People Max) | Masks Required | $25 per Participant
Calling all chocolate lovers! Brooke Jung, Executive Director of the Hopkinsville Convention and Visitors Bureau, will lead a small hands-on chocolate workshop with decadent tastings and suggested wine pairings. Flavor profiles will be explored while each participant chooses from a variety of toppings and extracts to complete their chocolate creations. This is the perfect memorable experience for a girls night or date night.
The $25 workshop fee includes all materials needed for the class. Participants are encouraged to bring an apron from home.

One of the most successful soul groups of all time, The Stylistics, has been rescheduled from April 18 and will perform Saturday, August 15 LIVE at the Alhambra Theatre show thanks to the Pennyroyal Arts Council and Rogers Group.
