Christmas In The Grove

We are delighted to announce that our annual Christmas In The Grove event will be December 16th from 5 to 7:30pm! This is a free event!
This wonderful event features a spectacular Santa’s Workshop at our unique and picturesque 1890s historical schoolhouse, pictures with Santa, a Christmas parade, free cookies and cocoa, a bicycle giveaway, a community Christmas tree lighting, and more!

Whimsical grinch trees floral design class

These whimsy Grinch trees floral design class is a perfect class for mother & child or father & child class. These trees aren’t your average design and its helpful to have two people. You will each help to make one arrangement or you can purchase two tickets and both create your own tree.
This class is lots of fun but please no children under the age of 7. We use sharp clippers, wire and floral mechanics that could cause harm if you don’t follow instructions.

Christmas floral design class

Our Christmas floral design class will feature a classic Christmas design in a beautiful ceramic or glass vase. You will learn tips and tricks from Danielle , the owner, to help you make a completed unique floral arrangement. Grab your friends and a bottle of wine for a fun night out!

Traditional Christmas table arrangement

Let’s take it back to the old school Christmas arrangements. The one with pine cones, bows and candles that sit low and beautifully on a dining room table. These long lasting floral arrangements are made of beautiful winter greens, berries and will last for weeks. Grab your mom, grandmother, friends and family and attend this fun Christmas floral design class. Limited seats so act quick.

Christmas Scavenger Hunt

The Christmas Scavenger Hunt is open to all VERIFIED foster/kinship families. The hunt will begin at Joy Closet where you will get your first clue. Be sure to have your child(ren)s Christmas Wish List ready before registering for the event. A Joy Closet representative will be in contact prior to the event to tell your start time and to verify your family (if needed). Be sure to put accurate contact information on the form when you complete it and call us at 270-632-1232 if your contact information changes. All stops, but the last one will be drive thru. Lunch will be provided for the family and a take home dinner will be provided at one of the stops. We are excited to provide a fun, family oriented event, that will provide awesome memories!
