HES Hopkinsville Christmas Parade

Join us in Downtown Hopkinsville for the 2022 Christmas Parade! Our parade theme is “It’s a Kid’s Christmas,” and our Grand Marshal is Terrence Davis, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville-Christian County.
The parade lineup welcomes floats, bands, businesses, clubs and golf carts that turn downtown into a brilliant display of sound and lights.
Parade registration forms are available online, in person at the Thomas Street Rec Center at 2660 Thomas Street, or call the Parks and Recreation office at 270-887-4290.

NON-FLOAT Entry Form + Rules:

The deadline for Christmas Parade float registration is Friday, Nov. 18. The cost to enter a float into the parade is $20 and a new toy.
Traditional display units and Christmas-themed floats will be joined once again by holiday decorated golf carts. The popular Golf Cart Division allows for entries that are less costly or time-consuming to put together. Cash prizes will be presented for the traditional float divisions and golf carts. WKDZ/WHVO radio sponsors the “People’s Choice Award,” presented to the most popular float as voted on by the public.

Community Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

GET IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT! Join us on December 9th as we come together to officially kick off the holiday season! We’ll have a short ceremony with remarks from local leaders and holiday music, to be followed by the countdown and lighting of the tree in Founders Square.
The ceremony will also be streamed live on Facebook.
