Visitor Experience Specialist

We are searching for a Visitor Experience Specialist to work at our beautiful Visitors Center, located at 1730 E. 9th Street. Scheduled hours will include Fridays 10-3, Saturdays 10-2 and community events as needed.
Talking to visitors and residents of Hopkinsville and Christian County will occur in many forms. Successful candidates will help by corresponding through online outlets, email, phone and at the front desk of the Visitors Center. This role will include website updates, data entry, and mailing of visitors guides, among other possible tasks and responsibilities. You’ll be exposed to our exciting destination marketing organization and the vast array of networking that comes with it.
You must be able to work as a teammate, have flexible availability (including weekends and some holidays), be friendly, be comfortable talking to strangers (in person and over the phone), be detail-oriented and able to lift up to 30 pounds. Candidates with hospitality and/or customer service experience will take precedence.
